Once upon a drunken rant, I had a bit of a blog – poorly written, raucous and immature, completely fun – and it was call The Blargh. It was part of a larger set of blogs under the DigitaLucifer banner (ahhh, youth) with a handful of friends. The Blargh took a smattering of amusing news articles for the day and made fun of them in a series of one liners. I cannot tell you how much I suddenly find myself missing it. Therefore, it returns!
Beginning on Cinco de Mayo 2012 and published sporadically, I will begin once more the innocuous waste of bandwidth known as The Blargh!

CraigsList posting: http://burlington.craigslist.org/crg/2785688044.html
A new Rutland-based band Cyanopia is looking for a female lead singer. Blend of genres may include Goth Rock, Shoegaze, Black Metal, Post-Black Metal, Death Rock, and Gothic Metal. Lead vocals should be clean, however — no growling abilities required. Influences should include Joy Division, Chelsea Wolfe, Amber Asylum, Anne Marie Hurst, Robyn Bright, and The Gathering.
This is a part-time but serious band. We are looking for someone fun to work with, has an artistic mindset, is passionate, dedicated, flexible, and is not pretentious. Inquiries should begin with an email about yourself. The next step will be vocal samples and a public meet-up over coffee.
Interested? Drop me a line at: gigs-tcfma-2785688044@craigslist.org

A sepian moon rises just over the blackened ridgeline… As the sounds of a gothic romance flutter through my ears and a chilled night air fills my lungs, I am reminded of what we felt like many years ago. With all things, time makes history a prisoner never to be released, but I can still feel the echoes in my heart. You, a blood soaked measuring stick, are revered in places none may tread.

With frost hanging in the air and inclement winter weather moving into the valley, I post yet another old piece, mildly revised and cleaned up, for the reading pleasure of any who will it. This is titled Of Frost And Ardor and sums a feeling still relevant in this period.

Transformation is a piece I wrote in the winter of 2008/2009 on the cusp of a major change in my life, both one of an outside cause and one very intense, internal shift. It was originally ordered as three pieces each consisting of six cantos, or verses, but I have rearranged it to be one piece of eighteen cantos.

I am sitting in my living room, unlit Christmas tree beside me, with a raspberry smoothie and voice-killing sore throat, listening to :wumpscut: while reading about the life and death of Mr. Christopher Hitchens.
“The four most over-rated things in life are champagne, lobster, anal sex and picnics.”
